Original Television Production Ephemera

Contents of this page pertain to ITC Productions of the 'adventure' and 'detective' flavour, originally screened on British Television during the 1954 ~ 1979 period. The Gerry Anderson output is already featured elsewhere on this web site.

As with everything else at DESTINY ONE, all products are guaranteed to be original. This includes the scripts listed on this page. All are original format/ dimensions. and have not been copied. Purchased in the early 1990's, they originate from Elstree Studios. when they closed and cleared out the remaining contents

Note that for North and Latin America, the ITC initials were copyrighted as
 Independent Television Corporation.
.

                                                        Attention --> WEALTH WARNING
Some dialogue scripts, and also a publicity brochure, that have been purchased from myself, have since turned up on ebay (possibly also elsewhere ?)  for sale, and on repeat sales, that are copies.

In law, ignorance is no defence, and for the seller to not state that they are copies is to deceive, and is equivalent to being fraudulent. Also, they have been altered/ doctored to deceive, to appear as more 'authentic'.  None of the dialogue scripts , camera scripts, etc were stamped ITC FILE / FILE COPY/ RETURN TO STUDY or any similar. The scripts are of a particular type caliper paper, and of uniform dimensions. The publicity brochures that have plastic combing/ ring-bound are also set in a way that they cannot be copied to the exact original.

If you have purchased any that you have doubt of authenticity, please first contact the seller you purchased it/ them  from for them to confirm whether original or repro. If is stated as original, and you still have your doubts, you are welcome to contact me. I will endeavour to give my own professional opinion as to its authenticity. Please note this pertains only to ITC titles/ series, as featured within this page.

Furthermore..
I had the majority of one of each of 'THE SAINT Scripts (I still retain the complete list of all the Elstree scripts that I purchased at the time).  Of 'The Saint'. I would say approximately 60% of these had the co-producer Mr Baker's name written top right corner. No professional has authenticated that this was in his own hand.

One person purchased all from me over a period of time.  However, they have recently been sold, and still are, on ebay, by the same family name at the same address as to where I sent each one on purchase from myself, and is being claimed as originating directly from Robert S Baker to the seller, as they were in contact, and are all signed by him (Baker). Well,  seller's name is not Walter Mitty, and the claiming to be a comedy script writer would be farcical if not for the fact is deceiving in attempt to, by auctioning, to attain a price for each from genuine collectors who are being led to believe the deception, lies, call it what you like.
